Thanks Chris! It was a quick write, from the gut.

Mark, it's more pervasive than shooting someone on 5th Avenue, and threatening American citizens in general. Even Donnie has been shot at. The US has become a pervasively lawless place, even when Donnie does not hold office. Will it get worse if Donnie wins? Can it? No doubt, frankly. There will be no guardrails, as they say. None. Even when Donnie is not in office, the SCOTUS he and McConnell seated destroy any sense of control or respect for the laws.

You are certainly right that they can't live with us, and they are on a rampage against us. If it isn't via Congress and the courts, it is more informally via mass shootings (another today).

Republicans are fleeing quickly, but the polls (even the most respected pollsters caution that polls are unreliable) show many important races equal or close. Frankly, I will be surprised if Republicans, including Donnie, aren't wiped off the legislative map.

There may be plenty of Clinton, Obama, and Biden judges waiting for him, but there's also a VERY sympathetic/protective SCOTUS, and goofballs like Cannon, waiting to continue to run interference. The SCOTUS is already hailed irrelevant, but they don't seem to care.

Of course there will be another Trump/MAGA mob, armed and dangerous, and of course we cannot be prepared enough.

There isn't excellent and compassionate government now, so you're just hopeful that this nightmare will end by the end of next week. And that excellent and compassionate government will take the place of what we have now, and pass laws quickly and decisively. If next week doesn't go the way I need it to go, I'm out. I've lived in cold weather before, and I can't do that again, so I'll make one trip to Jamaica to find a place to live out my years, and another to dismantle and pack up my house so I can move. If Donnie/MAGA is what Americans want, then I can't be here any more. And to be clear, Donnie did not win the popular vote in '16, but he somehow got more support in '20 than he did in '16. That is to say, he got a lot of votes when he just gave most voters the strong impression that he was an infantile and self-focused liar with a nonsensical agenda. He got even more votes once he proved it. So as much as I would like to think it's completely impossible for him to get votes now -- even his campaign is caricaturish -- I have to consider that he might, and I have to RUN FOR THE FUCKIN' HILLS! And I'm talking about hills in some other country that isn't this one, if this one is populated by people with their heads so far up their own asses that they don't see what a catastrophe this would be.

Excellent Fred, but I know many many many are not savvy to this subterfuge, which is why it needs to be broadcast amongst our blue friends :-)) Best wishes and good luck, Martin

It is my fervent hope that Kamala Harris does win the election. It is my belief, and my hope that I’m wrong, that there will be great violence and madness from the maggoteers, that will have to be dealt with. It is my desire to se that the DOJ has backbone enough to follow the law, and without delay.

I never dreamed of the occurrence of the last elections’ insurrection, and I dread seeing it again. We must defend!

The circumstances are entirely different this time. In 2020 the administration was woefully unprepared. The Biden administration understands what failure will bring. Military leaders, state and local police are preparing their forces to deal with anything MAGA can hand out. Trump is no longer in the White House and so is not dealing from the position of strength he had in 2020. Collectively, we are anticipating everything Trump and his minions tried last time, and more.

I agree that Kamala will win this election. We must be vigilant after the election as Project 2025 is not going away!
